UCS supports surgical education, evidence-based discussion, professional standards, and respectful collaboration. Treat colleagues, trainees, patients, staff, partners, and the public with respect. Debate evidence and clinical reasoning, not personal identity. Be accurate, constructive, transparent about uncertainty, and willing to correct mistakes. Disclose relevant conflicts where appropriate. Do not disclose identifiable patient information unless all legal, consent, ethical, and UCS requirements are satisfied. Harassment, threats, bullying, hate speech, discrimination, sexual content, humiliation, targeted attacks, doxxing, disruption, unsafe medical claims, false cures, misleading outcomes, unauthorized advertising, and unauthorized fundraising or recruitment are not allowed. UCS may warn users, edit or remove content, restrict comments, suspend access, remove users from programs, terminate accounts or membership, preserve evidence, or report serious issues. UCS is not required to host every viewpoint or publish every submission.
